TAKE YOUR WRANGLER’S SOUND BEYOND THE FACTORYEnjoy premium sound quality even with your JL’s top-off! The PSS-23WRA is a 300-watt system upgrade featuring a powered subwoofer, amplifier, and tweeters for the 2018-Up Jeep Wrangler Unlimited JL without the factory amplified system. The PSS-23WRA provides excellent sound performance whether the JL’s top is on or off.SOUND THAT WILL TURN HEADS WITH THE TOP ON OR OFFThe PWE-S8 subwoofer is engineered to load and disperse lower-frequency sound into the passenger’s footwell area to maximize bass extension throughout the Jeep for great sound with the top on or off. The subwoofer includes a remote bass knob so you can control the bass level from the convenience of your dashboard. The included 4-channel amplifier more than doubles the power over the factory system, allowing you to enjoy your tunes with the top off.
EASY BOLT-IN INSTALLATIONThe PWE-S8 Powered Subwoofer and KTP-445U Power Pack Amplifier don’t take up much space since they mount under the passenger’s seat. The two products come pre-connected for easy bolt-in installation with simple wire routing. Mounting brackets for the products are included as well.SIMPLE TWEETER REPLACEMENTThe SPR-10TW Component Tweeters replace the factory tweeters on the top of the dash. These high-performance tweeters add much-needed high-frequency response that is lacking in the factory Jeep JL systems. An EQ Ring improves the tweeter’s dispersion characteristics and delivers a wide, flat frequency response.WORKS WITH ANY RADIOThe included T-harness gets the necessary audio signal connections from behind the Wrangler’s radio, making installation a breeze. The PSS-23WRA is compatible with Alpine universal head units, the factory Jeep base radio, or other aftermarket radios.

The new R-Series subwoofers take a great platform to the next level. Although the R-Series subwoofers are new for 2017, they come from an impressive Alpine lineage – the Type-R subwoofers. Type-R subwoofers have been known for their power handling, clean output, and deep bass excursion at a mid-line price. Using the highly successful Type-R subwoofers as a foundation, we applied various performance and hardware improvements to the design, fundamentally transforming them into the new R-Series subwoofers – The Next Evolution of Proven Performance. STRONGER CONE ASSEMBLYR-Series subwoofers feature a Kevlar-treated cone for durability. This cone and the Santoprene surround allow the subwoofer to deliver 19mm X-max for incredible, hard-hitting bass. A new method of attaching the spider and cone to the voice coil ensures rigidity throughout the motor structure and increases the subwoofer's accuracy.
MORE RIGID DUST CAP
Talc, a common mineral used in products such as baby powder and paint, has been found to have incredible damping properties while being less dense than the traditional Mica filler used in dust caps. By adding a calculated amount of talc to the mica polypropylene in the dust cap, we increased the cap's vibration absorption while lowering its density. The lighter dust cap contributes to a faster attack and a more accurate reproduction of low frequencies.

All four R-Series subwoofers are rated at 750W RMS. They perfectly match the PDR-M65 Mono Power Density Amplifier, creating an efficient system.
