A power sequencer prevents these spikes from reaching your speakers, and smoothes inrush current to protect sensitive equipment. The eight rear AC outlets power up or down in order. The global Sequence Delay offsets each outlet by up to two seconds. Loud transients can't pass between units, and since your power amps can be the last to turn on and first to turn off, nothing reaches the speakers unless the entire system is ready.
