The dual subwoofer enclosure can handle 300W-750W RMS and features a tuning frequency of 36Hz.Enclosure: The Alpine R2-DB8V-TRK is made up of two separate ported subwoofer enclosures that are linked together using the included front and rear ProLink brackets. Each enclosure is constructed of 5/8" MDF and covered in premium black carpet with the port tubes firing out each side. The center linking brackets can be adjusted, providing between 40" and 51" of enclosure mounting width, allowing it to fit under the rear seats of most full-size Crew Cab trucks. Two amplifier tray brackets can be mounted between the two enclosures, allowing a wide variety of amplifiers to be mounted to the enclosure. Each tray bracket must be drilled to match the amplifier's mounting holes. With the enclosure in its widest mounting configuration (51"), the amplifier tray brackets provide 11"(w) x 9"(d) of mounting space for an amp. Both of the enclosures include three installed stacking feet that provide an inch of clearance for the down-firing subwoofers. Additional stacking-feet spacers and rubber feet are included for mounting the enclosure on an uneven floor. Note: The amplifier mounting trays may not be applicable for all vehicles, depending on the amount of under-seat space (width) available.Drivers: The R2-DB8V-TRK includes two pre-loaded R2-W8D2 8" R-Series dual voice coil subwoofers. Each driver features a paper and Kevlar reinforced parabolic cone with a mica/talc dust cap. Alpine's High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) surround combined with a high-excursion voice coil provide deep powerful bass while maintaining airflow. Dual 2Ω voice coils are internally wired for a 4Ω load at each enclosure's terminals.
