Ideal for students, hobbyists, or accomplished pianists, the red Casio Privia PX-S1100RD is a portable digital piano capable of delivering realistic grand-piano sound and feel in a small space thanks to its 88 simulated ebony and ivory textured keys, scaled, hammer-action keyboard, high-quality instrument sounds, enhanced speaker system, and an exceptionally compact design. Weighing at only 25 lb for portability and convenience, the instrument is capable of running on either the included power adapter or on six AA batteries, giving you the freedom to play music anywhere you like. The PX-S1100 features a slim, space-saving chassis that's barely larger than the keys themselves—great when space is at a premium. Its simple, minimalist design has been crafted to match a range of room sizes and interiors.

The PX-S1100 offers 18 vivid, harmonically rich sound—with five acoustic pianos—that are enjoyable to play. Employing the company's Smart Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard, each of the 88 keys has its own weighted feel and timing for sound production and dampening, enhancing the grand-piano playing experience. Other instruments include electric pianos, bass, strings, vibraphone, and more. The layer function allows you to combine two sounds while the split function lets you to assign two different sounds to low and high zones on the keyboard.

The onboard speaker system features two, 8W amplifiers, which reproduce a realistic piano sound with deep overtones and controllable volume, whether you're playing rock, pop, jazz, or classical music. The included WU-BT10 adapter adds Bluetooth wireless connectivity, allowing you to use the speakers to play music from a smartphone or tablet—suitable for both play-along or background music when entertaining. Two headphone jacks are provided for quiet practice, alone or with a partner.

The PX-S1100 offers educational tools to help you learn piano. The built-in metronome promotes accurate timing. The USB MIDI support lets you capture your performances as MIDI data on the built-in MIDI recorder or wirelessly on your smartphone/tablet—enabling you to quickly evaluate your progress. A music library of 60 songs with Part On and Part Off functions allows students to play along and mute the right hand or left hand part of the songs, and practice hands separately.

To further facilitate operation, the piano settings can be controlled wirelessly from your iOS/Android phone/tablet via the Chordana Play for Piano app (free download available separately). The PX-S1100 comes with a music rest and an SP-3 sustain pedal. Optional matching CS-68P stand and SP-34 three-pedal unit are available separately.

The Privia PX-S1100 delivers a vivid harmonically rich sound thanks to the dense overtones of each individual string for all 88 keys tuned for its unique speaker system. Casio's proprietary Multi-dimensional Morphing AiR Sound Source produces the natural full-bodied sound of a grand piano with vivid detail. Sympathetic resonances can be heard when the damper pedal is pressed and the other strings are free to resonate (damper resonance). Damper noise (the sound of the damper leaving the strings) and key action noise (the mechanical sound unique to grand pianos made when keys are pressed softly or when keys are released) are also audible.

The AiR Multi-dimensional Morphing Technology produces smooth volume and timbre changes according to key velocity and time (temporal change), allowing players to express the full range of playing styles from gentle pianississimo to powerful fortississimo.

AiR Sound Source uses lossless audio compression (reversible compression and decompression), which not only preserves the original sound but also allows for playback of many compressed waveform variations. 88-Key Digital Scaling and Hammer Response: The 88 keys of an acoustic grand piano have different hammer sizes and weights-giving each key a different touch. Casio's 88-key Digital Scaling technology digitally controls the sound level generated by each keypress. The sound timing, which varies subtly with the sound range, is adjusted by the Hammer Response function according to how the keys are played, which further enhances the grand piano experience.

Enhanced Expressiveness When Playing Repeated Notes

The note-off timing is digitally controlled based on the key's movement when released. When playing repeated notes, each note is voiced distinctly even when the key does not fully return to its original position. This allows for detailed touch expression, controlling how a note starts to ring and how it is damped, as you would expect from a grand piano.

The shipping methods listed above are for residential and commercial destinations within the continental 48 United States. Absolute Pro Music primarily uses FedEx to ship orders. To provide the most affordable rates, small items shipped via Standard Flat Rate or USPS First Class Mail will be delivered through a joint effort by DHL and USPS. Shipments to military addresses and PO Boxes will only ship via USPS. When shipping to a military APO/FPO/DPO address, we strongly recommend choosing USPS Priority as the shipping time is much quicker than Parcel and averages about 2-3 weeks.

Order Tracking

Once an order has been shipped, we send our customers an email with the tracking number for the order. Click on the tracking link in the email to follow the location of the package on the carrier's website. Order Processing

Each order placed on Absolute Pro Music goes through our processing department before it can be shipped. If 3 business days have passed since you submitted payment and you have not received an email with tracking information, please log in to your account to track your orders and/or contact us immediately via email or phone. Customers who do not receive a tracking number within 3 days will receive an order status update via email.

Shipping to Alternate Address

Orders with different billing and shipping addresses may require longer processing times due to an additional verification procedure. The additional verification and processing time are in an effort to protect our customers from online fraud.

Shipping Changes Fees (Address Intercept)

If a request to change the shipping address is made after the package leaves the Absolute Pro Music warehouse, it is subject to an Address Intercept Fee imposed by the shipping carrier. The amount of the fee varies according to the shipping carrier and the destination of the package. Absolute Pro Music will do its best to work with the shipping carriers to make these changes so that your package arrives at the correct address. Please be aware that not all shipping carriers will accept address intercept changes. This policy is in accordance with the security measures and agreements made with our third-party shipping companies.

Signature Required

Due to the valuable contents of some shipments, Absolute Pro Music may require a signature upon delivery. Such guidelines will not be overruled upon the customer's request. Please understand that this is a security measure taken by our Company to ensure the safe delivery of each package and guarantee excellent service. Many of our third-party shipping carriers and payment companies require signatures upon delivery to protect against fraud and theft. Shipping Policy Disclaimer

Delivery estimates do not apply to items shipped directly from the manufacturer, nor out-of-stock items. Some items that ship from the manufacturer can only be delivered to addresses within the 48 continental states.

Standard delivery time for domestic customers will average from 2-4 business days but can take longer in some cases. Saturday, Sunday and national holidays are not considered business days for delivery purposes.

Our Shipping Guarantee applies only to shipments delayed due to our service failure. We will not guarantee shipments that are delayed due to an act of god (ex: weather), a catastrophic event, or failure by our delivery partners. Our guarantee is also voided if incorrect billing or shipping information is given and results in your order being delayed to its destination.
