The R-Series Amplifiers have a diagnostic LED located behind the blue Alpine Jewell on the top of the amplifier. Blue light means the amplifier is operating normally. A red blinking light means the amplifier is currently too hot for operation and needs to cool down. A solid red light can mean three things: 1. The amplifier circuit is abnormal. 2. Temperature is too high. 3. Power supply voltage is too high.

The WaveGuide enhances in-car sound dispersion and helps eliminate phase distortion. Alpine’s unique Dynamic eXpander ring stiffens the cone around the WaveGuide, eliminating a significant source of distortion in typical designs caused by cone flexing.NEW STREAMLINED GRILLThe new metal mesh grille with the R-Series logo badge provides a classic, attractive look.
